Daniela and I got engaged on Thursday July 22, 2010. She had spent the whole week in Portland, Oregon...and when she got off the plane I was there waiting for her. Luckily her sister's boyfriend Andy works at the airport and he got me in a little closer than I normally would have gone, and was able to take pictures and a video of it all unfolding.
I'll try to post those a little later, but for now you can enjoy the picture of her ring above. Mario, from Exeter Jewelers, made the ring for me....he had to add in the pink sapphires on each face(?) of the ring. I picked it up Monday, asked her family's permission Monday night, and then I just had to wait until Thursday for her to come home.
